Progetto Essere Attori, a cura di Beatrice Kruger e Barbara Giordani

Il BIF&ST – Bari International Film&TV Festival (23-30 gennaio 2010) è lieto di annunciare l’apertura di un bando per attori con una formazione professionale e/o al loro attivo un minimo di 5 esperienze professionali in cinema/televisione e teatro. I candidati saranno selezionati per partecipare al progetto Essere Attori curato da Betarice Kruger e Barbara Giordani. Nel corso della manifestazione le due celebri casting directors illustreranno ad aspiranti attori e attrici tecniche e metodi per prepararsi ad un casting, con predisposizione di un set per effettuare provini su parte e la partecipazione attiva di alcuni fra i registi presenti a Bari nei giorni del festival. Il progetto è in collaborazione con l’Apulia Film Commission ed è necessaria l’iscrizione, secondo le modalità indicate di seguito.

Call for entry

We are now preparing for the first edition of BIF&EST – Bari International Film&TV Festival that will take place in Bari (Italy) from January 23rd to 30th, 2010. Founded in 2009 by Felice Laudadio, headed is number zero on January 2009 with a great success of audience and press. The Festival aims to promote Italian and International feature films and TV productions ever released in Italy before the festival dates.

Launch of the new CINEMA&FICTION section

Cinema&Fiction section will celebrate TV Fiction that will be shown in a showcase of the most relevant and innovative TV productions that will be screened in a non-competitive section dedicated to Italian and International TV Movies, Miniseries, TV Series preferably produced, directed, written or acted by people involved in Film Industry.

Submission to the Cinema&Fiction non-competitive section is now open to any work produced for Television anywhere in the world in 2009, provided that they are Italian Première. We are accepting submission in the following categories:

  • TV Movies Made-for-TV-Film with a feature-length running time
  • Miniseries The entire series must be submitted
  • TV Series Category which includes TV Series and Serials

Entries deadline: November, 30th 2009

How to submit

Pre-selection Entry Form: Please submit your entry filling out the Cinema&Fiction Pre-selection Entry Form. You must fill in a form for each product you submit.

DVD Screener: There is no submission fee to the festival. Applicants must own the rights to the works and must send the DVD screener together with the Pre-selection Entry Form. The only acceptable format for submission in the pre-selection phase will be DVD. Please send DVDs at the following address:

Questa sezione rappresenta una novità rispetto alla passata edizione. In programma nel Multiplex Galleria una consistente rassegna di tv movie, miniserie, pilots e lunghe serie italiane e internazionali realizzate per le televisioni di tutto il mondo da produttori, registi, sceneggiatori, attori di cinema: titolo prefenziale per la loro selezione in questa sezione non competitiva.
ItaliaFilmFest/Lungometraggi – Rassegna competitiva dei migliori 12-15 film italiani di lungometraggio del 2009 prescelti da un Comitato di selezione composto da 11 autorevoli critici cinematografici: Maurizio Cabona (Il Giornale), Valerio Caprara (Il Mattino), Paolo D’Agostini (La Repubblica), Silvio Danese (Quotidiano Nazionale-Il Giorno), Fabio Ferzetti (Il Messaggero), Oscar Iarussi (La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno), Alessandra Levantesi (La Stampa), Paolo Mereghetti (Corriere della Sera), Roberto Pugliese (Il Gazzettino), Piero Spila (Sindacato nazionale critici cinematografici), Dario Viganò (La rivista del cinematografo). Ammessi in concorso i film distribuiti in sala o passati nei festival internazionali nel periodo compreso fra il 1° gennaio e il 31 dicembre 2009.

ItaliaFilmFest/Cortometraggi – Rassegna competitiva di 12-15 film italiani di cortometraggio selezionati dalla direzione artistica fra quelli distribuiti nelle sale o passati nei festival nazionali e internazionali nel periodo compreso fra il 1° gennaio e il 31 dicembre 2009.

ItaliaFilmFest/Documentari – Rassegna competitiva di 10 film italiani documentari selezionati dalla direzione artistica e dal critico Maurizio Di Rienzo fra quelli distribuiti nelle sale o in DVD o passati nei festival nel periodo compreso fra il 1° gennaio e il 31 dicembre 2009
